Rested by Baudouin the Piles into 1059, the Collegial one was 3 times destroyed by fires. On XVe century, its rebuilding was essential and continued during 1 century and half.
This vast Gothic building blazing of bricks and stones remains the most beautiful floret of our City. In XVIIIe century, one rebuilt the tower in his proud thanks allied to a great robustness; it seems to dominate the horizon of our City.
At the interior: the imposing central nave is made up of 3 different styles, testimony of the successive successive rebuildings. It is Mrg Scott, in 1840, which made carry out the decoration of Italian inspiration as well as the sculptors furnishing the vaults.
