Inauguration In 1928, to thank the Foch Marshal, of his bravery and its courage, for the battle of Yser in 1914, Cassel set up the monument with the Marshal, the Terrace of the Castle. There were a splendid procession, musicians, giants of France and Belgium, and much of eminent personalities.
