The
Park and Arboretum Realized in 1894 by the Noizeaux architect, this park of 20 hectares is established on the glacis surrounding the ramparts. The Garden with the Frenchwoman is registered between two traversed bastions of immense voutées rooms. The old bastion called the " ham " now demolished, opens on a staircase leading to the cathedral.

the vegetation are guessed all the types of works of fortifications of
Vauban: ditches, bastions with mumps, priorities over secondary road,
half-moons, arrows, works advanced, etc... Splendid the arboretum includes/understands: catalpas, tulipiers, beeches whining, polownias, will séquiadendrons, walnut trees of America, magniolias, ginkgo-bilobas, liquidambars... |
